Eggtooth

Hatching ideas for Mental Health Services

Hello again! I’ve been using the summer months to reflect on some of the exciting projects I've been involved in recently. One that stands out is my collaboration with the trailblazing team at Eggtooth.

The Challenge

Eggtooth is dedicated to improving mental health services and projects for young people in Hastings and beyond. They invited me to deliver a visioning workshop across two days for their team. The goal was to hatch new ideas (pun intended!) and create a vision and strategy map for the next three years of their programme.

You can watch a time lapse of the day over on my YouTube channel!

The Process

The workshop was a fantastic experience. I had fun integrating egg-themed motifs and puns into the designs. The team was brimming with free-range ideas (sorry!), and together, we incubated (🥚) these concepts into a comprehensive vision and strategy map. The energy and creativity in the room were truly inspiring.

The Outcome

The outcome was a detailed and visually engaging strategy map that will guide Eggtooth's initiatives for the next three years. This map encapsulates their ‘why’, their values, goals and the steps needed to achieve their vision. It was an eggs-ceptional experience (last pun, I promise!).

“The visioning workshop was an extremely powerful way to visualise the future. Setting deadlines and having something that can hold you to account, but also reminds you of the achievements to date, is incredibly motivating! Esther is great at holding the room.”

“What an amazing tool to unscramble all of our ideas and dreams. It worked especially well for myself as a person with a creatively, visually inclined learning style that still appreciates order and practical application.

I especially enjoyed the grounding exercises at the beginning of the workshop, it unites the group and helped us really enter the room. We are rowdy and passionate bunch of people, Esther held the space respectively and expertly.

Thank you Esther!”

Looking Ahead

Eggtooth has hit the ground running with their visual strategy as a guiding light. I’m excited to see the positive impact these plans will have on mental health services in the community. I’ll be keeping in touch with Eggtooth and supporting them in the future, so stay tuned for more updates.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Until next time, folks (or should I say yolks)!
